The Gist

Hello darlings! Some of you expressed interest and requested to see a video of the TV talk show i'm a part of. It was never my intention to keep this exciting project away from you. As a Nigerian living home away from home, being on "The Gist"- a show that targets social issues and entertainment news in the African continent is exciting because it keeps me connected and better exposed to my great continent.

The diversed panel and I are able to give our honest opinion on light-hearted and weighty issues that are swept under the rug to settle; only for one to later lift up the rug and surprise! It's still there!
Africa is a mixed bag of different culture and ethnicities however, we all face similar social issues. It is great to be able to get the opinions of the rest of the panels on pressing issues such as Female Gentialia Mutilation, Homosexuality in Africa and wait for it... Should the size of a Manhood matter in the bedroom? (Yes, we consider this a pressing issue lol)

We have so much fun on set and it never really feels like i'm working. It is a show that has growth potential and i'm only a part of it because of the light it sheds on issues that matters the most to the great people of Amadioha Africa. (I kid, I kid)

Above is our take on Corporal Punishment. Let me know your thoughts below.

Have a productive day!

Kisses,

Ms. Sole

  2. i love your blog and fashion taste. i will definitely add you on bb; That said. i believe that the some kids in America are really rude, insolent etc because parents and guardians are not permitted to spank/reprimand when they go wrong.although im not supporting the extreme punish meted out on African kids.
